When my husband and I set out to completely rehab our 3-flat in Roger’s Park, we were nervous about choosing a contractor that would not only provide good quality service and be attentive to our project, but would also be willing to work with green materials. We had spent countless hours looking for all the right materials and had heard from our friend that many contractors were not keen on using materials that were unfamiliar to them. Since this aspect of our project was extremely important to us and we did not want to sacrifice our choice to go green we were extremely lucky to have been recommended to Lavi Co. as the go-to contractor for green projects and even luckier that we received amazing service. Oren Lavi made us feel like we were the most important customers in the world.
We have used Lavi and Company exclusively for our home since we moved into the area 8 years ago. We have hired them to do things as minor as painting and drywall repair to changing a closet into a laundry room, updating a theater room, remodeling 2 bathrooms and a master bathroom. I trust his employees in my home. I trust Oren to make decisions in my best interest. We live in a home that is 25+ years old but is extremely modern in design. Oren is the Master of Modern Design! He puts great thought into the project and is very willing to create a new idea or work with the idea that we may have. While working with businesses where I buy my faucets, or tile-they all know Oren and either have his company on their recommended list or just speak highly of him. Oren Lavi of LaviCo did a very large rehab job on our entire house and blew away our expectations! He was professional, HONEST and the work he did is just beautiful! I was 7 months pregnant with 2 young children at home when we started the job and I was concerned about bringing chemicals into my house. I thought I was going to have to start researching what “safe” products to be using but after talking with Oren, he knew literally every product that we should be using and not using. For me, that was worth his weight in gold! We have gotten dozens of compliments on our renovation. We have also recommended him to many friends, and they have all been just as happy with his work. We would give LaviCo a 5-star rating.

Our condo was in desperate need for someone to fix the leaky roof. We had decided at our meeting to contact 3 companies for quotes. One of the tenants recommended Lavi Co. to come take a look and give us a free quote. Lavi Co. Came out to look at the roof on the first non-snowy day we had, and they had their quote the next day. We tried hard to get the other two quotes, but they ended up rescheduling more than six times with each one wasting a lot of time. Our condo gave up on the other companies realizing their service was probably going to be even worse and decided to go with Lavi Co. It was the best thing we could have done. Within a week of making our decision everything was fixed and best of all, the price was really fair. We will be using Lavi, Co. again for our condo’s next project.
We were seeking to renovate the kitchen in our new home — circa 1924 — and we didn’t know where to start. A professional in the business recommended Oren Lavi. Our rapport with him was instantaneous. Unlike other contractors we had interviewed, Oren came in with a vision and a plan and presented fantastic possibilities that we would never have considered. We hired him on the spot. Our project necessitated electrical/plumbing work as well as complete demolition and reconstruction. Oren’s crew — to a man — were superb — hard-working, courteous, skilled, and professional. I had heard for Oren Lavi’s top quality work and great service from a friend that had recently completed a second floor addition and was really pleased with the results and the speed at which the project progressed. With a toddler in the house and a baby on the way, I was in a hurry to completely my kitchen remodel. I decided to give Lavi Co. a try I am still amazed at how fast my kitchen was completed. I now have new cabinets, a new countertop, a tile backsplash and tubular skylights that add sunshine to our space
